Since TCL owns global rights to blackberry brand, therefore, to revive the brand as well as its present flagship phone ‘KeyOne’, the company may launch more phones next year.

But according to Android Central, the Chinese company is planning to revive one more classic tech : Palm.

Palm led to tragic end when in 2013 HP bought it and shuttered its product, for it failed to extract any profits. In 2014, TCL bought Palm from HP and now, in 2017, it is rumoured that TCL may launch undisclosed number of devices early next year.

We can assume that the new Palm devices will run Android, just like TCL’s KEYone BlackBerry phone. The operating system Palm originally developed for its devices, webOS, was included in its acquisition by HP and then sold off to LG, which continues to use it in its tablets and Smart TVs.

Thats all we really know and all we can retrieve from the interview of the company’s marketing manager Stefan Streit taken by Android Planet.
