Android users, what made you chose your brand of phone?

Right now I have a Samsung Galaxy Note 4 and the main reason I chose it was because it seemed like a sturdy phone. My fingers would glide across the screen and the apps would react immediately with no blanks or error. Everything operated seamlessly in my opinion compared to other competitors systems, ergonomics and user interface. The style of most of their phones set a pattern for other types of models to erupt, all being quite similar, but just different enough for you to tell they weren't the same thing. Samsung's UI is very easy to use as well, most of the time being very straight forward about operation and usage. Although in newer models they've done away with the physical home button, it is another feature I admired most about samsung as the others started to move past what seems like dated tech. The 'home' button is the real mvp when it comes centering yourself with your phone; it's your quick access to a glimpse of an awaited text, or to tell the time. No knocking, no quirky gestures, just press and go. Another big thing as well, this phone was being produced when everyone was switching to a non removable battery. So while everyone was paying extra to go have their phone worked on by a "specialist," or risking tampering with the mechanics of the phone by trying to remove it yourself, you could just simply go buy another warranty guaranteed battery. And last but not least, the screen. The vibrant super AMOLED screen that comes with this thing is like watching a small ultra high def tv and this was in 2014. At the time, the phone cost eight hundred something dollars, pretty steep for a phone in my book, but it's been a worthy investment. My next phone probably won't be another note for how much of the other features I haven't mentioned haven't been used, though it will be a Samsung. But an unfortunate note (pun intended) is that it won't be any model after the S7 as they seem to be doing away with the physical home button.

7/10

Edit. I'm retarded and put chose instead of choose. Pbbbt.
