Do airplanes mess with internet connection?

People always think I’m nuts when I say this...BUT... I have been keeping close tabs on the situation and it never fails. I live 15 minutes away from O’hare (Chicago), one of the largest airports in the US. I CONSTANTLY have air traffic above my house. Every time I hear an airplane flying by, my internet cuts out (AT&T). Is there a connection between the two incidents? Again, I have been living here for years and the relationship has proven to be true every time... but the tech peeps always say it doesn’t interfere with wireless internet connection speeds.
