Changing to a bigger screen size?

Hi everyone!

My smartphone has been an amazing LG G4 (love it) with a 5.5 inches display. Now, due to the rebooting looping software problem :'( I'm changing to a new phone.

After lots of research that I've been accumulating, I've come down to 2 models: Samsung Note 9 (6.3 inches display) and Samsung S9 (5.8 inches display).

I know that the Note 9 is better in basically everything, but I'm not sure if the screen is too big... (for a high school student aged 17). What do you guys think?
