If security updates are so important, why aren't low-priced Android budget phones vulnerable?
USA-only
I'm not defending the manufacturers at all, but this popped into my head.
I'm talking those dirt cheap $80 ZTE, Huwaii, LG phones Metro PCS, Cricket and Boost Mobile sell. They are everywhere. People tend to hang on to them for years. but i haven't heard of any widespread security problem. and it's not like they get timely updates.
