About chinese phones...

Most chinese manufacturers' strategy is to put the best features in their phones for the lowest price possible so, you can buy a chinese phone for 150$ and replace it after 1-2 years instead of buying a non-chinese smartphone with better build quality and more durability with 300$ or more with even the same features and replace it after 2-3 years.

This will make you be able to buy a cheap phone with good features and save more money theb replace it with a newer one with newer features after a year or more of usage with the saved or invested money of the year before and this can be better for many people than buying a more expensive phone and stick with it for a longer time and it would be outdated and slow but you can't replace it as you don't have money at that time.

At the end of the day, chinese phones aren't bad as you think and this is the real reason why chinese brands are growing very fast .

Removable batteries discussion

I have always preferred phones with removable batteries so far, thinking that it will most certainly be the first component in a device to fail. I have even advised people in my circles to do so, until a recent event. A family member of mine still uses a HTC DesireX. Recently, he wanted to replace his battery because of swelling. He bought two matching batteries from different sellers. The problem is, even though they were unopened/sealed packages of original batteries, they were not holding much charge. (I suppose they waited on a shelf for some time.) This made me question myself. In the past, I have used nokia smartphones, and they were easy to replace with fresh batteries, since almost all nokias used the same battery type. Now with android, its all over the place. Is it even worth it to go for a removable battery device when you cant find a replacement a couple of years after you purchase it? What do you think/prefer? PS.
