What features of iOS would you like to see on Android?

I'm a big tech fan so Im always interested in talking about tech. I think IOS and android are great operating systems and its stupid to fight over which OS is better. They serve different customers and continue to push each other.

Tbh i havent owned an Iphone since 2012 but i will say update support. IOS supports phones more than 4 years, Android should be doing that. Id say android should support upto 5 years of OS and security upgrades.

Id love the optimization that IOS has but i think Apple controlling hardware and software its tough for any company to match that level of intergration.

  • Continuity: switching from an Ipad to a mac you can pretty much seamlessly switch, if you could do the same with Android phones/tablets and Windows. Also Qualcom needs to add a chip similar to the W1 on all android phones. connecting my airpods and mac is a peace of cake, qualcom do that for android.

Removable batteries discussion

I have always preferred phones with removable batteries so far, thinking that it will most certainly be the first component in a device to fail. I have even advised people in my circles to do so, until a recent event. A family member of mine still uses a HTC DesireX. Recently, he wanted to replace his battery because of swelling. He bought two matching batteries from different sellers. The problem is, even though they were unopened/sealed packages of original batteries, they were not holding much charge. (I suppose they waited on a shelf for some time.) This made me question myself. In the past, I have used nokia smartphones, and they were easy to replace with fresh batteries, since almost all nokias used the same battery type. Now with android, its all over the place. Is it even worth it to go for a removable battery device when you cant find a replacement a couple of years after you purchase it? What do you think/prefer? PS.
