Bad config

Awhile ago I got a laptop and I've had a ton of drawings/games/just important stuff in general, and recently I got the bad config message and blue screen and such, and when I got it, it was already a windows 10 and I have no clue if there's any disk for it or drive with stuff saved on it. And I'm just naturally pretty stupid so the steps in certain solutions where you have to put in stuff in where you put in stuff into the dash board I guess you could put it, gets quite confusing. And im just naturally pretty paranoid with those steps, though I'm not sure its even possible, I'm scared a command in some of the solutions could screw up my whole laptop worse, and reddit tends to be the most useful place for technological solutions. So for one I was curious what causes this to happen, and how to fix this, not sure if this helps but it was crashing a lot before this. I'm really sorry about how long this is, and I'm really sorry if this wasn't the right sub reddit to ask this, if so please tell me, and tell me which one to ask it on ówò.

Removable batteries discussion

I have always preferred phones with removable batteries so far, thinking that it will most certainly be the first component in a device to fail. I have even advised people in my circles to do so, until a recent event. A family member of mine still uses a HTC DesireX. Recently, he wanted to replace his battery because of swelling. He bought two matching batteries from different sellers. The problem is, even though they were unopened/sealed packages of original batteries, they were not holding much charge. (I suppose they waited on a shelf for some time.) This made me question myself. In the past, I have used nokia smartphones, and they were easy to replace with fresh batteries, since almost all nokias used the same battery type. Now with android, its all over the place. Is it even worth it to go for a removable battery device when you cant find a replacement a couple of years after you purchase it? What do you think/prefer? PS.
