Okay so hear me out. I was watching Designated Survivor the other week and they did something in the show that made me really think. They created a new cabinet position for Technology. Much like Housing and Urban development or The Director of Energy or Education. With technology playing such a crucial role in not only the government, but every day lives, you would think that someone would be there from the industry to help guide it in the right direction. Or at least guide the government away from stupid decisions.
Just a thought honestly, so why doesn’t the government have such a position?
Edit: Added clarity.
