Take care in updating Samsung A6 plus to Android Pie with OneUI

I own a Samsung Galaxy A6 + as a work phone. I was quite pleased with it, did the job just fine and I loved the good battery life.

I have received the 9.0 update and OneUI about 2 weeks ago and have been experiencing problems:

  • The phone is much slower in all aspects. But especially in contacts searching, text selecting/ cut/ pasting, web browsing.

  • If I power down the phone with about 35% battery, when I power it back on it will show about 20% battery charge.

Another office college has the same problem with slowing down after update, and when someone calls him it takes a long time before the phone number on the screen turn into the caller's name.
