I was just sharing a link to a photo confident that I'd set the setting to remove location from photos shared by link, but Google has removed it. This is what it looked like in Android (source), and from a quick google it was still there a few months ago . I just by accident realized that the photo I shared by link had a location still visible, cause the option has changed to "hide photo location data" which hides it from everyone, even if shared directly through G Photos to a contact (which I was OK with, but there was no way to disable before). And this option was disabled. Also, somewhat privacy related, there doesn't seem to be a way to see which photos you've shared by link or disable the link, but this might be an old change, from when they switched from rogue "albums" to conversations. I could have sworn there was a way to see all the shared links though. Submitted November 28, 2020 at 10:35PM by andyooo https://ift.tt/3fSRMq8 https://ift....
